Our Story
Dr. Vijay Agrawal Eye Hospital is a premier eye care facility located in Amravati, Maharashtra, India, offering comprehensive ophthalmic services. Established in 1982 by the late Dr. Vijay Agrawal, one of the most renowned ophthalmologists of his time in Amravati, the hospital has built a strong legacy in the field of eye care.
​In 1998, Dr. Sunil Agrawal, a highly skilled ophthalmologist with a Master’s degree in Ophthalmology, joined Dr. Vijay Agrawal Eye Hospital after completing advanced training in Intraocular Lens (IOL) implantation at the prestigious L.V. Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad and Phacoemulsification under Dr. Mohan Rajan in Bangalore. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Sunil Agrawal has been instrumental in advancing the hospital’s services and upholding its commitment to providing exceptional eye care. Since 2000, Dr. Sangita Agrawal, also an experienced ophthalmologist, has been an integral part of the team, contributing significantly to the hospital’s growth. Together, they lead a dedicated and highly trained staff, ensuring the hospital remains equipped with state-of-the-art technology and continues to deliver high-quality, comprehensive eye care services to the community.
